Okay, so wow, I’ve reached 100 followers, which when I first started blogging was my goal for the end of September. Yet, somehow, thanks to the amazing readers out there, I reached it by the middle-end of June!

So, to celebrate that, because I am blown away, I’m doing a little giveaway. I will be giving away a copy of Oscar Wilde’s ‘Only Boring People Are Brilliant At Breakfast‘, a copy of Sophocles ‘Antigone’ and a selection of postcards/greeting cards, including a Sherlock Holmes card, and various others.

How To Enter

  • Answer: Which of my poems is your favourite and why?

There’s no right or wrong answer here, but I’d love to know which of my poems is your favourite and why (favourite line/meaning/best bit – I’m not going to tell you how to answer, get creative!). To pick a winner I will be putting everyone who answers in a hat, and drawing out a name.

Note: Whilst sharing on social media is not a compulsory component to enter the giveaway, if you share on any of your networks and link back here I will a) follow you (if it’s a network I’m on!), and b) add your name an extra time into the hat.

I would also love you forever.

My Poems:

A Few Notes

  • I will send these anywhere in the world. If you enter, please be aware that you must be willing and able to send me a shipping address. All data given is for the purpose of the giveaway only, and will not be used in any other manner, or stored in any third-party site.
  • I won’t be accepting one word answers as an entry. If some people put effort in to answer and others don’t, then that’s not fair! Play fair lovelies!
  • I will draw a winner on 01 July 2018.

Thank you so much for your continuing support. The blogging community is incredible and I am finding inspiration every which way I look.

  1. Yay to reaching your milestone! My favourite poem is 21, I feel like you really captured the atmosphere of the times with that one. The last line in particular (with its bitter humour) really brings across all that frustration and anger so many women must be feeling right now. Also 17, because it’s both tender and full of passion and reminds me of falling in love for the first time.

  2. I loved poem 50. Last year my life was like a flickering candle trying to hold on to its flame for as long as possible. I’ve definitely been through the darkness but life has lit up significantly thanks to the people I loved being by my side. Instead of a candle that runs out of wax, my life is now more like the sun. Shining brightly and illuminating the way towards my happiness.

  3. Congratulations! My favorite poem is the number 04. because I feel like that’s life. People think they must bring everyone else down in order to succeed and “be great” but the truth is that when you get to the top that way, it truly is no victory at all. Also, the last lines “The final sheer will pour from lonely lips accompanied by silence” really got to me. I loved them all!

  4. I loved number 21! It just felt so real and direct to the point. From beginning to end, I could feel the inspiration rise up while speaking the truth.

  5. I have to choose number 15 as my favorite because wow. The truth is it was very intense but truly meaningful and enlightening about sexual abuse.

  6. Number 9 is my favorite of your poems because it makes me feel a little bit of hope in the world. Also, I read what you wrote about it about when you wrote it and that gave it even more emotion tbh because every time I hear about shootings like that, it just makes me sad
