Anxiety rises
A storm on horizons edge
Waiting for thunder.

Hello! Not a particularly upbeat one this week because I’ve had a few wobbles here and there with my condition. I went into my office earlier this week to have a chat with some people and that immediately set my panic rising about going back – not sure whether this is a natural reaction, or something telling me I need more time. Oh well, I’ll figure it out. As Stephen Fry says: tomorrow the sun may shine.

Haiku Friday 13 July: Guest Haiku

Kristian was suffering through the UK heatwave:

Here I am praying,
The grass is brown, the soil dry.
Still waiting for rain.

If you had to write a haiku for your week what would it be? Remember haiku has to have a 5-7-5 syllable pattern, and it doesn’t have to rhyme.

Post your Haiku in the comments so I can see them & post them up here next week!

  1. We still haven’t had rain where I am.

I hope your condition settles down. I have anxiety issues and Irritable bowel syndrome, so I can understand.

    My Prayers Unanswered
Still there has been no rain here
    Will it ever Come?

    That’s my Haiku….I’m going on like a broken record aren’t I? 😉
