I would normally do this at the end of each month, but it got pushed a wee bit in August. So, without further ado; here is a round up of all the poetry I published in August for you to go back to, or check out if you missed some.

Which was your favourite?

65

Her hands will measure out the stars, grains of sand between her fingers,
Hot to the touch as if warmed by the sun for the duration of a day.

66

Can writing change the world_I taste the words like salt on my tongue,Or the slip of sugar into a wound.

67

The whole world is cast in perfect pink
As the sun breaks through the bonds of night
And delivers her battle cry to the
Creatures of the lightening dawn.

68

If everything is a choice
Then we are utterly free.

69

You were still in that gallery of ghosts,
Of memories lived before another’s lense.

I think my favourite from August is 69 – just purely because of the absolutely batshit insane dream I had that inspired it. I wrote the dream down because it was just that crazy and this poem came out of only part of it.
